I very seldom write reviews, but I must share this experience with all the ladies who are contemplating purchasing these boots. I selected them in tan and blue. The quality and workmanship are outstanding. Plus, the comfort level is heavenly. Of the two colors I selected, the blue are regal--my favorite. Please, please give these boots a try. Plus, another advantage is that ... the price is right!

Wide Calves; Otherwise Awesome

I love these boots in blue and find myself wearing them all the time. Comfortable and you can walk all day in them. The weird thing, as mentioned in other reviews, is that the double zipper makes the calf stick out. They go way in at the ankle and then way out at the calf. I do not like this look from head on view -- at least not on me and I have muscular runner's calves. Still, I wear the heck out of them despite my nitpick. It's so nice to have a blue boot to match jeans or a denim skirt or blue floral dress, tights, bare legs ... I could go on and on. Too cute despite the weird double-zipper thing and I got them on deep discount. I will avoid double zipper in the future though.

A great looking boot for jeans...

I must say I wanted to keep these boots as I tried two pairs--blonde and denim. The look could be better with a more delicate sole as this one is waffley and grey/black. The other issue is that the tops are wide which does not work well with skirts/dresses but looks good with jeans. Just could not make them work enough to keep them in the wardrobe. 5'6, 130 lbs, foot size runs narrow.

These Boots Are Great!

I just purchased these boots last night in both the camel and black. I swapped them out for the shoes I wore into the store and continued shopping around the mall for 3 hours and my feet felt great. The rubber soles on these make them super comfortable for walking in. They look way cute over skinny/straight leg jeans. I have what I consider mid size calfs (some boots fit over my calfs, others are too tight) and I found that with jeans these fit perfectly and I didn't have a need for the 2nd zipper.

I only wear aerosoles. I am a true 11 1/2 so I order 11's and 12's; sometimes the 11 fits best - sometimes the 12. In this boot I needed the 12. I received my catalog and I read it over serveral times yet I miised that this boot has double zippers. This means for WIDE calfs, you unzip the smaller inside zipper and the boot's calf is WIDER. OMG, My calf is a true 18 inches, and I wear a size 18 clothes so this was FANTASTIC for me. I ordered the navy first and tonight I ordered the black and beige. The shoe also has an nice platform so it does not feel like 3 inches. I don't normally go past 2 1/2 in boots so I was not sure about this item. This is WORTH purchasing if you have a wide calf because they might not make this next year. Smaller calfs no WORRY, you just don't unzip the smaller zipper .

Stylish boot that's comfortable!

I decided to buy the Decoy boot in black because I have a different style of Aerosoles boots in brown that I've been wearing nearly every day in the fall/winter for the past two years. I usually wear a size 8 but bought these in an 8.5 so I can wear warm socks with them. They fit perfectly and are comfortable even though I don't usually wear a 3 inch heel.
What I like most is that these boots looks great with work clothes and can be dressed down as well. They are truly all-purpose. Plus, they're just wide enough in the calf that I can wear leggings with them.

I've been a runner and biker for years, and often have trouble with tall boots fitting over my calves. As stated in a couple other reviews, the top of this boot is wider, so even with jeans, my calves fit comfortably into these boots; I'm thrilled! For me, I could wear it with a skirt, but not a short skirt, because the top edge does not fit the calf tightly, so it just wouldn't look right, Wearing it with a longer skirt would work fine though, and for us athletic types, this is a GREAT boot. The first time I wore it, it was a little stiff, but is now softer and very comfortable. I also have a very wide foot, so on an average width foot, this may not be the case. I came back to the site today, to order the black and tan pairs, because I am going to wear these boots alot. The blue ones I have, the color is gorgeous, and looks fabulous with denim. I have short legs, so having the same color from my toes to waist has been very lengthening for my leg.

This boot is very soft and comfortable. They are a bit wide at the top, but if you are wearing them with skinny jeans or tights, they don't slouch as much.

These boots are adorable but they are too wide compared to other Aerosole boots. If you have wide calves or like to tuck jeans into your boots, these are for you. However, if you wear them with tights and skirts, they are too wide.
