GREAT IDEA FOR WIDE CALVES THAT NEEDS IMPROVEMENT

I normally wear a size 10Wi or 10/5R in aerosoles shoes. This is my first pair of boots. I tried both the 10.5W and the 11W. I kept the 11W because the calf fit. The 10.5W I couldn't zip up either calf with the extra zipper open. They just fit my calves which are 18in. I'm thrilled I can wear them. The second zipper is an awesome idea. I wish they would the zipper on the Ride line boot as well. However, the boots are fake leather and they look it. The price is WAY too high for a synthetic fabric. They look synthetic. Real leather would have been better, then they would be worth the price. I wish they would sell wides and 10.5 in the retail stores, I hate paying the high shipping cost, I have a store less than 2 miles from me. A shame

These boots are super comfortable, can wear them all day long and just go and go. I am short and was worried they would be too long for me and hit my knees, but they come just below my knees. I also have beefy calves and the double zippers work wonderfully. They would work for riding as well, go great with my riding breeches, but I don't want to ruin them, they are so fashionable!

I got these boots for Christmas, and I heart them so much. I have 16.5" calves. I can almost get both zippers up when wearing leggings, but only use the one zipper when wearing jeans. This allows for a perfect custom fit. They are oh so comfortable, too, and also look amazing. I want to buy another pair just because I'm not sure I'll ever find boots again that I like as much as these!!

I'm petite, have "athletic calves" and find it very hard to find knee high boots that fit and look good. I tried on a pair of these and they were perfect. I bought not only a pair of black but a ones in brown too. Kudos to Aerosoles for catering to those of us with athletic calves. Would definitely recommend these to anyone who is looking for a comfortable boot that looks good and is priced very well.

I love that these boots have the double zipper!! I have the freedom to unzip the extra one when I'm wearing jeans tucked into them or to zip them both up when I'm wearing them under pants. I wear these boots with everything!!!

These are the perfect boot! Love the color - goes as well with black leggings as it does with jeans. The size zipper for extra calf room is brilliant it grows and shrinks with you! I also love that the sole is rubber, making this a shoe you can walk in all day.

They are perfect and just as described. I have wide calves - about 17" and these just barely zip up over my jeans but they do and I think they look great! Exactly what I wanted and exactly what I expected.

I have very, very wide calves - about 17.5" and these boots actually fit. I'm wearing them now over a pair of tights and feel awesome!!! I can finally fit into a fashionable pair of boots and am very exctied. I have the brown ones and am waiting for the black to arrive. Not real leather but I can live with that I suppose. They fit and I like to think I maybe saved a cow somewhere. . . My calves are about as big as these boots will fit taking advantage of the extra zipper. I'm 5'10" and I love where they fall on my calf as well. Very, very, very happy with them. Now time to wear them out and show them off! I took a risk and paid a ton of shipping to get them up to Canada and I don't regret it.

I'm a runner. I have been squeezing my large calves in boots forever. I can't believe this one fits perfect with jeans. So happy I don't have to suffer for fashion anymore. I have the brown, and I'm buying black.

Wonderful boot if you have a fuller calf. My calf measures exactly 17" at its widest point, and this boot ACTUALLY FITS! Plus, it's not awkwardly huge around the calf like some of the "plus-sized" boots out there. There was no break-in period, these were comfortable and adorable from the start. Great with knee length dresses and skirts, and perfect with skinny jeans and leggings. I'm in love.

I tried these boots on in the store and the size 11 fit very nicely, however they have a very wide calf area!
However, I had read that a good cobbler (which I have) could easily "take in" the calf area if the boot has a back seam, (which these do), so I am going to take these to my cobbler and have them made fo fit my leg. It is worth the money, as these boots are extremely comfortable and look great, and I got them on sale, which will cover the cost of the fix.

wide-calf boots

I have always had wide calves and these are perfect for me. They have a zipper which can make the calf area larger or smaller, so I wear the zipper portion open all the time. For others without that issue, these are great if you want to tuck jeans in.
They are comfortable beyond belief. I wear them quite a bit, a nice change from black all the time. I get compliments on them on the metro and in work, they look/feel like leather. Recently after slushing around in snow, I find there are no salt stains like you get on leather boots. Yea! These are a keeper.
I look forward to more boots like these in more styles in the future.

I gained weight over the past couple of years and my old zip up boots no longer fit. These boots are awesome!! I bought the black and I think I'll buy the brown too! :)

I can't say enough about these boots. I LOVE them! The fit is perfect from day on. The leg height is great, I can wear with skirts and leggings. Plus, I have received so many compliments on them. They look terrific! I am buying a pair in black!

I love these boots so much I purchased them in both black and brown. I am an athletic person and have large calfs and it is nearly impossible for me to find boots to fit. These were perfect. I gave them 4 stars and not 5 because they are not real leather but they look great.

These boots are comfortable and they have a nice rubber heel. They also seem to be made well and they zip down completely so it is easy to get them on and off. They look like quality leather boots. The bad thing about these boots is that they are very big in the calf and would look better if they fit closer on the calf. They would be great for someone with really wide calves because in addition to being really big in the calf area already, they are adjustible and can be expanded even further in the calf area. Unfortunately they can not be adjusted to be tighter in the calves so these are not good boots for someone petite or someone with slim calves.
